PCProtect Settings

Check for Updates

Updates are crucial to making sure that PCProtect is always secure, providing you with the best security 24/7. Please see below on how to check your PCProtect Application for updates.


Open PCProtect

Taskbar

  • Go to your Taskbar and near the bottom right, you will find an Upwards Arrow. Click on it to reveal a icon menu.

    • Find the PCProtect icon

    Select Check for App Updates

    Right Click the PCProtect icon and Select Check for App Updates...

    Update

    Once the software has updated the following window will pop-up. Click on OK Great when the update has been applied.

    If you are experiencing update issues, please uninstall and reinstall PCProtect for the latest version. See download link here

    Open PCProtect

    Taskbar

    • Find the PCProtect icon

    Right Click the PCProtect icon and Select 'Check for Updates..'

    Update

  • Once the software has updated the following window will pop-up:
    • If you are experiencing update issues, please uninstall and reinstall PCProtect for the latest version. See download link here

    Open PCProtect

    Find the PCProtect icon on your Taskbar and Click it

    Select 'Check for Updates..'

    Wait for the Updates to Complete
